Beautiful authentic Victorian-era collapsible travel cup by A. Barrett & Sons, Piccadilly, London. Fully hallmarked sterling silver with lion passant and maker’s mark. Features the original pill/storage compartment in the base. However no pills but some used to store gold still gold dust inside adding to the lore of the cup, as seen in picture.
This is a classic gentleman’s pocket cup from the mid-1800s — great for collectors of antique silver, Victorian travel items, or unique display pieces.
