Up for sale is my Ludwig Black Galaxy Acrolite 5x14 snare drum in excellent condition, complete with a protective case and brand new heads top and bottom.

This is the modern Black Galaxy finish over Ludwig’s classic aluminum shell — lightweight, super versatile, and famously crisp. It delivers that articulate, dry crack the Acrolite is known for, with great sensitivity and projection. Works beautifully for rock, metal, indie, funk, or studio work.

The drum is in excellent shape — clean shell, smooth throw-off, solid hardware, no issues. Finish looks great with only minimal signs of normal use. Tunes up easily and records extremely well.

I just have more snares than I need and this one isn’t getting the playing time it deserves.
