Fern and Stark are ready for adoption! Rescue Rovers presents: Fern, a beaitiful female Visla (Hungarian Pointer) mix. She was found stuck in a fence next to a shelter and brought to Utah. She was terrified initially, but quickly adopted her foster mom and, after only week, she loves everyone in the family; including all the other fur-babies. She has amazing instincts and would thrive as a hunting or agility dog, but definitely needs lots of exercise and enrichment to match her intelligence and curiosity. •3-4 months old •spayed, vacc up to date •housetrained (mostly), crate trained, and knows "sit" (after only 2 days of work) •good with dogs, cats, and kids with slow introduction (she chased our cat around for a week, but now only has staring contests) •scared of big goats and will gleefully chase chickens, ducks, and rabbits She is still scared with meeting new people and will bark until she accepts them as safe. She still has her puppy excitement and will jump and sometimes snap like she is playing with another puppy. She will also stretch out next to you for a nap and follow her person to the end of the earth.
Stark is pure puppy love. His fluffy black coat is made for comfort, and he will adopt anyone and shower them with snuggles and kisses. He is always hungry and is starting to chew the furniture so lots of toys is a must. He trots along with his foster sister, but wants to be carried on the way home. As a typical toddler, he bursts with energy to run, wrestle, play, and jump and then passes out for a nap wherever he lands. •3 months old •neutered, vacc up to date •working on house and crate training and almost has "sit" figured out •pretty good with fetch •good with dogs, cats, kids •afraid of all the farm animals (they're scary when you are a little fluffball) He will adopt his new family immediatly. He jumps and licks so controlled intro to young children. He is a frequent pee-er, but will use the puppy pad if it is close (he went in his food bowl yesterday) He will be a high energy and intelligent dog and might start herding your kids if he gets bored.
