VenmoThis violin was a child's instrument in the late 80's and has not been used and stored since then. The violin and bow both appear straight, clean, and it good shape. Some of the strands of the bow are broken, but can be restrung. The tuning pins seem to turn readily, and it does make good and clear sound when strummed.
The case inside and outside are a bit worn, but not beyond expectations and the latches close properly. The Yamaha and Suzuki labels are in tact inside the violin.
The Yamaha violins from this era seem to have been considered well-made student violins, before they became more mass produced and had a reduction in quality and character. In great condition, this should be in the $400-$500 range. Asking $325 but willing to consider reasonable offers.
