This stunning quilt is the pattern Gradmother's Flower Garden. It consists of many many hexagonal patterns, and the side of the quilt is also designed in patterns and trimmed in a beautiful pale green.
I inherited this beautiful handmade, hand stitched quilt from my grandmother. It was made by her sister sometime during the 19th 30s or 40s. Not sure of the exact date. My great aunt was a master quilt maker and this quilt has absolutely no effects except for the one small brown dot that I photographed in the pictures. I have not washed it because I did not want to damage it. However, it is not so soiled to any great degree. There are nowhere spots. Damage that I can find in the quilt at all. It is perfect in every way! If you didn’t know what you would think this quote was new.
The only reason I am selling it is because I do not want to put it on a bit because it will get destroyed. I have no desire to hang it. And I’m tired of it sitting in a box in my closet. And my children are Not interested.
It is 72” x 80”.
I’m pricing it according to the last sale price of a quilted this quality on eBay.
