ApplePay1964 Gibson Melody Maker D
Nice dual pickup version of the Gibson Melody Maker! No breaks, cracks or repairs. Pickups, pots, knobs, bridge posts, pickgaurd, screws, strap pins, and tuners are all original. Frets are in great condition and only show minor signs of wear, no major divots or flat spots. It currently has a MojoTone wraparound bridge for better intonation than the original and the nut looks to have been replaced with something more modern than the original plastic nut. Truss rod functions as it should.
It has been professionally oversprayed or refinished at some point, but it's a very nice job. There is a bit of hanger burn near the bottom of the headstock a shown in the photos.
It has a nice, full pre '65 neck and is super comfortable to play.
Nut Width: 42.5mm
Neck depth 1st: .80"
Neck Depth 12th: 1.02"
Weight: 5.6lbs
Comes in a 1970's Les Paul case that has seen better days but will do a great job of protecting the guitar during shipping. The case may look a little rough but it's exponentially better than the original cardboard case would have been at this point.
Please take a look at the photos and message with any questions.
