American federal bookcase

This bookcase is in the American Federal Style and is a mahogany veneer over sold wood. There are two hinged doors with inlaid tracer design and two removable shelves. The finial at the top and winged accents give it that grandeur in a small size. The height is 73”, width is 36” and the depth is 16”. One drawer is set into the base and curves along the line of this design. Unparrelled in its construction when compared to most furniture available on the market today. All the detail had to have been hand cut and fitted. It is in such great condition it has no need for a paint although I’ve shown photos of examples of painted bookcases- this is original condition and its nearly perfect! For its pint size it makes a big impact statement. I bought it from the original owner and have owned it for 30 years.
