ApplePayWe have handfed 2 English budgie babies weaned and ready to go home. Both are girls. 175ea 1 is 11 weeks old and the other is 8 weeks old.
Handfed budgies are much tamer than what you encounter in the pet store. This allows handling from the start and any taming and training to go much further. English are a bit bigger and a bit calmer than the smaller ‘American’ budgies. English are still a budgie, just bred for exhibition. I’ve found them to make better companions. They grow and get brighter plumage(feathers) for the first 12 months I send them with food and a care sheet. I’ve raised them for 20 yrs. Most the time they have homes before weaning.
