1971 Aristocrat Starliner vintage travel trailer in a classic gold-and-white color scheme, about 17-18 feet long, in honest “fair but very functional” condition. This is that sweet-spot rig: you can camp in it now, with major updates already done, and still have room to put your own cosmetic touch on it.
Aristocrat trailers are a classic Western road-trip brand, and the Starliner is one of the more sought-after floor plans thanks to its manageable size, big windows, and cozy interior feel. The gold-and-white exterior gives it real vintage curb appeal and turns heads at gas stations and campgrounds.
Upgrades and condition Brand new PEX plumbing throughout. Brand new Sky-light vents. Brand new toilet, shower, and brand new kitchen faucet. Brand new electric hot water heater for reliable showers and dishwashing. New Speakers and Bluetooth receiver. Roof is currently leak free; I have seam-taped it and have the roof sealant on hand, with the reseal in progress. Some minor leaks around windows we have been working on but nothing unexpected with an older trailer. Old, non-working refrigerator and furnace have been removed. Heated with a Buddy heater rated for safe indoor use, which has worked fantastic in this trailer. Tires and frame in great condition. Inside, it keeps that vintage Aristocrat charm with a front dinette that converts to a bed, a compact kitchen area, and plenty of storage in overhead cabinets and under the seats. Realistically, it’s a “fair” interior: totally usable as-is, but cushions, finishes, and flooring are great candidates for an easy refresh if you want it dialed in.
I have new buckets of roof primer/sealer I will include with sale.
Why it’s a great candidate
Comfortably sleeps 2–3 depending on how you set up the dinette. Big windows bring in tons of natural light and a great cross-breeze. Under-20-foot length makes it easier to tow, park, and store than many modern rigs. Perfect for weekend runs to the Uintas, Moab, Bear Lake, Flaming Gorge, and local campgrounds around Utah. Still has a few things to fix up but new plumbing and hot water, while leaving cosmetic updates open for your style.
Clean title in hand. Located in Utah (Wasatch Front area). You’ll need a proper tow vehicle with a 2" ball and working trailer lights.
