We are Distant Lands, a Metalcore band currently based out of Tooele. We are willing to travel for practice, if we can find something that works for everyone.

We primarily play progressive metal/metalcore, although we have a wide range of influences, including Invent Animate, ERRA, Veil of Maya, Currents, Silent Planet, and many more.

We're currently searching for a drummer and second guitarist. This is not a band with a lead guitarist and a rhythm guitarist -- both guitarists take lead in different sections, and our sound features both guitars with equal presence when they are not trading off.

Prospective musicians would be expected to learn some of our existing repertoire, and be involved in the writing process for new music.

Our sound is constantly evolving, and a lot of the stuff we're currently developing isn't fully captured in the music we've released formally. We'd be happy to send some of our more recent demos to anyone seriously interested.
