This MacBook Pro was recently rescued from recycling. It has a brand new battery and thermal paste. It is also been upgraded to macOS Sequoia, which is well past what Apple normally supports. This was done with open core legacy patcher, however, all basic operating system functionality still works great including iMessage, and iCloud. Is fully able to access modern websites. Unless you are familiar with open core legacy patcher, I would not recommend updating any software however it is fully up-to-date as of now with security patches for Safari.

This machine does have a slight dent on one of the corners of the display. It is barely noticeable unless you look at it carefully, it is not major. Also the WebCam is not broken in hardware, but does not work in the current software. This may be able to be fixed, but I have not been able to find a solved so far if you want to use FaceTime, you will need to use an external camera.

This machine is not the fastest however it is Rock solid reliable, and has a brand new battery. This machine can run for approximately four hours when fully charged and comes with an apple OEM MagSafe charger

If you’re looking to experience macOS and don’t have a lot of money, this would be a great way to start
