VenmoAfter 25 years of hobby beekeeping, I'm retiring!
This includes absolutely everything you'd need to raise bees, produce honey, and make beeswax products! Not sold separately...you must take all of it.
Well over $3500 for everything new. All you need are bees (easy to purchase locally or better yet, catch a swarm of bees).
This is just a partial list; check out the photos, and prices on https://www.dadant.com/catalog:
3 complete beehives and 9 supers: deep and super brood boxes, bottom boards, lids, queen excluders, inner covers, all frames, screens and entrance reducers. Painted brown for winter warmth and less likely to be seen by nosey neighbors.
Complete honey processing set-up: 6-frame stainless steel extractor with stand, uncapping tank with 2 electric knives, 4 honey buckets, 5 different filters, and bottling valves.
Complete wax processing set-up: solar wax melter, pots and pans for melting and filtering wax, candle molds, jars, and supplies, and lots of beeswax.
Tools of the trade: smoker and fuel, 4 bee veils and hat, 4 sets of gloves, fume board and organic Bee Quick to encourage bees to vacate the supers, medicine, frame puller, bee brush, hive tool, hive feeders, and actually a really good book.
Jars and lids: hundreds of these (mostly Mason Jars) for honey bottling and storage.
Misc. supplies: spare parts, repair tools, xmas ornaments, stickers, food grade grease for gears, etc.
Local suppliers are taking orders for bees right now. So, don't wait!
