ApplePayThis girl (I’m pretty sure she’s a she, much larger than my male) is sweet and tame. I got her from a friend about a year and a half ago, it was supposed to be temporary but I’ve still got her so I named her; Oro (Orochimaru, I was told it was a male, but I kind of doubt it). Since I already have another ball python and several other animals to take care of, I’m hoping someone will be able to take her.
I feel bad because I’ve been having a hard time keeping the humidity up and she is in a room which is indefinitely being occupied by family, so it’s hard to go in there more than once or twice a day. I love her and I don’t really want to see her go, but someone with more resources could provide a better life for her than I can at this time.
I’d prefer someone who either has a 4x2x2 enclosure already, or is able to get one. I wanted to get her one because she’s pretty big and definitely needs something bigger than the one my friend provided, but I thought he’d be taking her back.
She eats frozen/thawed with no issues unless she’s on a hunger strike (she went almost 9 months without eating, but she was overweight when I got her and now she’s at a healthy weight). She’s never struck at me, just the occasional hiss if she doesn’t feel like being handled. I let my 8 year old niece hold her and they both did great! She moves around a lot, loves to explore.
I’d like to keep the enclosure she’s in if possible, because the enclosure for my male is even smaller and I’d like to move him to the one that she has been living in. I got both of these snakes within a couple months of each other, and I’d never owned one before. Both of them are in enclosures which are too small for adult BPs. I had plans to provide a great life for both of them, but life has gotten in the way and it’d be best if I can focus on one of them and let someone else enjoy Oro’s company.
If you can prove that you have an enclosure for her and know what you’re doing when it comes to these beautiful creatures, I will let her go for $30. If you need the enclosure and the hides/tree/water dish I’ll let her go for $180.
