With 49k miles, this one is barely broken in!
Very clean and well-maintained 2009 Honda Civic GX with only 49,000 original miles. Everything in the car works exactly as it should. It has been extremely dependable and used primarily as a commuter vehicle for my kids going to high school and college, so it has had a relatively easy life.
Features include an aftermarket radio, tinted windows, and a spare tire.
Everything functions properly, the heat works great, and the A/C blows ice cold.
The car runs and drives exactly like you would expect from a well-cared-for Honda with low miles.
It was in an accident with the right rear passenger side panel, bumper & plastics damage.
*** Important *** This is the GX model, which runs on CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) rather than gasoline. CNG burns much cleaner, engines typically run cooler, and these Civic GX engines are known for extremely long life, often 500,000 miles. With 49k miles, this one is barely broken in!
Fueling is very simple.
You can easily find CNG stations using the Alt Fuel app or https://afdc.energy.gov/stations#/find/nearest?fuel=CNG, which shows all station locations.
Ideal areas for owning this car include:
Provo
Orem
Lindon
Salt Lake City
Logan
Brigham City
Cedar City
St. George
Scipio
Las Vegas
California
These locations are where CNG stations are readily available.
As an example, when the Springville CNG station was operating, I could fill the tank for about $13–$14 and easily drive all the way to St. George on a single fill.
The only reason we’re selling it is that our local CNG station, Springville, recently shut down, making it impractical for us to continue using it. Otherwise, we would absolutely keep it; it has been a fantastic car, and we’re genuinely sad to see it go.
If you live in an area with convenient CNG fueling, this is an incredibly inexpensive commuter car to run, extremely reliable, and in excellent condition with very low miles. Honda Excellence!
I have maintained it very well with every 3000 miles… oil, oil filter, air filter changes, and fluid & tire air pressure top-offs, if needed, etc.
