Two beautiful red mares ready for their next chapter — ideally together, as they’ve been a steady pair.

• Tillie – approx. 15 years old (Lighter color)

• Millie – approx. 20 years old (Darker color)

• Not papered

• $4,000 for the pair (preferred) or $2,000 each

These girls are the kind you want around the property — easy to catch, gentle to be around, and full of personality. They’ve been good partners and have a lot of life and usefulness left in them.

They ride and can be saddled up and taken out, but they’ll do best with someone experienced who’s willing to give them a little tune-up and consistent groundwork. Not for beginners or kids, but for the right person, they’re a really rewarding pair.

They’ve never bucked in the time I’ve had them. They can be a little buddy sour and a bit opinionated at times, but nothing unusual — just horses that appreciate a confident, consistent hand.

• Good for the farrier (with someone present)

• Happy doing all the “fun horse things” with a little direction
