Debating selling my truck, I’ve had her for almost 15 years, absolutely loved this truck, it’s had a lot of work over the years and used to be very fast for a truck this big. As of right now it’s a complete truck, I may consider parting it out if someone buys the rolling chassis first and doesn’t want the rest, but I’m not gonna sell my go fast parts and get stuck with the rest, I need to down size. Truck was running great then sounded like it had a lifter fail. When I took the motor apart one of the rocker arms had fallen off and its plastic guide was broken. Now that it’s apart all the lifters seem to be ok. But as I took it apart I was very surprised to find more damage then expected as it ran great with no blow by. One cylinder is really scored, a home might fix it, but it probably needs to be bored out. The oil pump has some dings in it indicating some metal went through, but oil pressure was still great, that probably happened years ago and is what took out my injectors and hpop but those have been replaced. the crank bearings are starting to show some copper. It’s just going to take more to fix it the I anticipated and I don’t have time for a project. The oil cooler could probably be replaced, the lambdas were starting to creep up. It has a bigger turbo, I think a 66mm can’t remember, billet wheel, 7mm hybrid injectors, sump fed gas tank with a 6.7 fuel pump, regulated fuel return, 4 or 5” full exhaust, can’t remember the size, it has a hollowed out factory cat welded on so it passes emissions every year no problem, but it’s a true straight pipe with a tiny dual tip muffler to take off the harshness of the straight pipe, it’s not horribly loud, sounds amazing. Has arp head studs which can be reused, and several tunes to choose from. I’ve ran it for 100k miles with this setup, I think it’s around 230k miles can’t remember. The heads seem to be ok, but should be magna fluxed to be sure. The driver window works, I just had it rolled down when I took it apart so it’s stuck down. I’d be interested in trading for an enclosed utility trailer, I can possibly add cash depending on the trailer. Other wise cash. I’m open to selling the rolling frame and then I’ll part out the rest of the motor. Has a level kit, nice touch screen radio and 2 subs behind the back seats. Message for any questions.
