These fertileScandinavian Silverudd’s Blue (Isbar)hatching eggs offer a chance to hatch one of the most rare and stunning purebred chickens in the world. These vibrant, active Swedish beauties are celebrated as the only pure breed that lays truly green eggs, with shades ranging from mint and pistachio to olive and dark teal. They lay beautiful richly colored blue eggs, as well. Many of our hens lay eggs with a stunning matte bloom, and you may even find speckles on midst of them!

They are hardy and independent chickens, excellent active foragers that thrive in both extreme heat and cold. They are prolific layers that lay well through most of the year, producing 250+ eggs annually. Add a splash of color and high-production to your flock! BBS Genetics hatches can bring you beautiful shades of Blue, Raven Black, or striking Splash plumage. My Blue and Raven Black hens are covered by a gorgeous homozygous (tested positive for the blue egg gene) Splash rooster, which ensures the perpetuating production of true green eggs.

Your eggs will be collected fresh, properly stored and available as promptly as possible, on a first come first serve basis.
