Gorillaz 9th studio album ‘The Mountain’ comes exclusively pressed to splatter effect LP with red liquid LP1 and yellow and white splatter disc 2 with exclusive character art centre-labels. The album is a collection of 15 new tracks featuring artists and collaborators including: Ajay Prasanna, Anoushka Shankar, Asha Bhosle, Asha Puthli, Bizarrap, Black Thought, Gruff Rhys, Idles, Jalen Ngonda, Johnny Marr, Kara Jackson, Omar Souleyman, Paul Simonon, Sparks, Trueno and Yasiin Bey; as well as the voices of Bobby Womack, Dave Jolicoeur, Dennis Hopper, Mark E. Smith, Proof and Tony Allen. Produced by Gorillaz, James Ford, Samuel Egglenton, Remi Kabaka Jr. and Bizarrap (Orange County),The Mountainwas recorded in London, Devon, Miami, Jaipur, Mumbai, New Delhi and Rishikesh; and features artists performing in five languages: Arabic, English, Hindi, Spanish and Yoruba. The artwork for The Mountain sees Jamie Hewlett’s distinct, yet ever-evolving, style illustrate the world of Gorillaz with an ever more detailed and beautiful intricacy across a series of hand-drawn illustrations. Circumstances find Murdoc Niccals, Russel Hobbs, 2D and Noodle in India, where our heroes are immersed in the rhythms of mystical music-making as they navigate the mountainous terrain of this thing called life.
Both vinyl are beautiful and they are so cool together! These sold out and there were only a certain amount of them made making them rare and very sought after. I have 3 for sale which is why it is numbered in the pictures. I only included pictures of #1 because they are all in very similar condition and if you’re interested I will just bring all the ones I have left and you can decide which one you want in person. Or you can have me pick the best one for you, either way. They are all brand new and have never been played. The liquid ones have never even been taken out of their plastic sleeves. I took pictures of the front, back, and all of the corners of the sleeve and the front and back of both vinyl so you could see the condition and the color of them for yourself. They all came unsealed so as soon as I took pics of everything I put them in protective sleeves to keep them in good condition.
