The engine features a cast‑iron cylinder sleeve, mechanical governor, 12‑volt electric start, and a flywheel‑magneto ignition. With an L‑head valve layout making it a simple, durable, easy‑to‑service workhorse commonly found in older riding mowers and garden tractors. Needs a carburetor rebuild. Engine strong and still runs. $60 OBO. A new, recently purchased battery is available for an EXTRA $60. Needs someone who has the time and skill to retune the carburetor.
