This is the Journal of discourses paperback set. It does not have the box sleeve that it came with. It has also seen relatively vigorous use. so this is not a pristine perfect set but it is a usable set and still in pretty good shape for its age.
If you're looking for a pretty set of books to have on your shelf that you'll never read or look at you may want to go spend $600 on a hardcover or about $200 to $250 for a pristine copy still in its box sleeve that's never been used by anybody and never will be. But if you want one that'll still look good on your shelf and you can grab a volume and quickly look up things when you see things referenced in the Journal of Discourses and sit down and flip through it and enjoy it, then this is going to be a good set for you.
And, I might point out, unless you're crazy uncle dies you're never going to get a less expensive set.
(Oh, and by the way, those cool bookends of Joseph Smith and Brigham Young are not for sale. They're just to hold the books up. Do not even ask if I'm selling them because I cannot. If you really want bookends like these, they show up on a regular basis at Deseret Industries.)
