Gaitor is a well built, bay yearling registered Fox Trotter colt. (He just got a bath in the pics so he looks a bit darker than he is. See pic of him when he was younger for his summer color.) I have included pics of both of his parents. His sire is a close Missouri Traveler bred stallion with an effortless flat foot walk with multiple speeds and a great foxtrot. His sire is a tank and one of the best looking bays I have ever seen. Gaitor is his spitting image.
His dam is a big, grey mare (see pictures) that I own who is also gaited the very best. Her gaits are effortless for her. She can do everything from a silky flat foot walk to a saddle gait that reaches over 10mph. She too is AWESOME to ride and is one of our favorites. Fantastic disposition and great build too. She’s as good as they get in my opinion, and Gaitor will be too.
Gaitor has showed great movement on the ground from day one. He already has good size and build too. He knows his baby basics (leads, loads, ties) and is ready for a new home. Honestly hate to part with this colt, but we are downsizing a bit.
