Silverudd's Blue are a rare Swedish breed that lays 200-250 medium to large green eggs per year. They are very curious birds and tend to not be flighty. I breed to first import standards (dark eyes, yellow skin, no red leakage, green eggs, friendly disposition) and have worked hard and continue to work hard to improve my flock. My birds come from several different lines to ensure genetically healthy chicks. Please know that there is a small chance chicks from this batch will lay brown eggs as our rooster tested heterozygous for the blue egg gene. All of our hens lay beautiful green and olive eggs, some with vibrant speckles.
These chicks will be sold as straight run (unsexed).
