Venmo2007 Yamaha V-Star 650. This has been my first bike and it’s been solid the whole time I’ve owned it. It’s easy to learn on, but still has enough power to handle everyday riding without feeling weak.
A lot of recent maintenance has already been taken care of. The battery was replaced this month, and the carburetor was also serviced this month. It also has brand new Michelin Commander II tires that were mounted and balanced this month, with less than 100 miles on them.
The bike rides exactly how you’d want a cruiser to. It has a low seat height and feels well balanced, so it’s easy to control at slow speeds but still stable on the road. The throttle and clutch are smooth and predictable, which makes it very forgiving, especially if you’re newer to riding. It’s also comfortable at freeway speeds, so it works just as well for longer rides as it does around town.
Overall it’s a great all-around bike. It’s perfect if you’re just getting into riding, but it’s also a solid option if you already ride and just want something comfortable and reliable.
I’m willing to go over the basics with a newer rider if needed. Just make sure you have a way to get it home if you’ve never ridden before. I’d also strongly recommend taking the MSF course.
Clean title. Good condition for its age.
