Dometic™ Atwood DFMD30121 RV Mojave Propane Furnace - 30K - Doorless
This is a doorless version of Dometic's DFMD30 Series Furnace. Meaning an exterior door is not necessary for the installation of the heater. There are pros and cons to this type of installation. The downside, is you have to service the furnace from the interior of the RV, rather than the exterior. The upside is you don't have to make a large cut into the side of your camper in order to install the exterior door. This furnace can be positioned in several different ways, making it the easiest furnace to install in a van conversion, small trailer, truck camper, or even an ice fish house.
Innovative heat exchanger The one-piece tubular design eliminates seams and welding for a more robust heat exchanger that maximizes air distribution. The radius tubing allows the air to move more freely through and around the heat exchanger. Reduced air turbulence means a quieter furnace.
Flexibility Don't worry about making your furnace fit one way, this furnace can be mounted horizontally or vertically. With several duct configurations to choose from, you can make your cabinet the way you want.
Applications This unit is typically installed in tent campers, truck campers and small travel trailers due to its small size and lower BTU capacities. Recently it has been popular in custom van conversions and ice fish houses. It is sometimes used in larger trailers or motor homes for smaller zone heating.
