ZelleUp for sale is a rare, first-year-of-production 1984 Rickenbacker 325V59 in the era-correct Mapleglo finish. This model is the reissue of the 1958/59 Capri 325 that John Lennon famously purchased in Hamburg in 1960. I can't find another one from this year for sale so assuming it's quite rare.
As a 1984 model, this is a "Series 1" reissue from the very first year Rickenbacker brought this iconic short-scale design back to the public. While most reissues are finished in Jetglo, this Mapleglo version showcases the beautiful natural maple grain—exactly how Lennon’s guitar looked during the early Cavern Club days before its famous black paint job.
1984 was the inaugural year for the V-Series, making this one of the earliest reissues available. The Mapleglo finish is significantly harder to find than the standard black, making it a standout for any Beatles enthusiast or Rickenbacker purist.

Serial number indicates August, 1984.
Includes the original silver Tolex hardshell/black fur case. also rare.
