These sauce-pan sized trivets are a great way to hold hot pans, plates, and more. Place your hot glass, sauté pans, or saucepans directly onto the trivet to help protect your wooden table or cold countertop. These trivets are made from walnut, cherry, hickory, white oak, and red oak in my shop. Sizes vary to accompany different pans, with slight variations due to natural variances in wood expansion or contraction.

Trivets were squared, then routered for different designs. Outside edges were rounded over to make them more comfortable, and a cove bit was used to allow for easy pickup. Lastly, they were sanded and finished with food-grade butcher block conditioner that is safe for food contact and is easy to reapply as often as desired. This also protects the wood from pans coming right out of your hot oven.
