VenmoI bought this chick as a BSL a few weeks ago. It is probably about 7-8 weeks old now. As it grew and the coloring changed we assumed it was a barred rock and there had been a mix up on what breed we got. I've been thinking it's a cockerel for a couple of weeks now, but was waiting for difinitive signs one way or another. I've been researching and just learned that male BSL chickens look very similar to barred rocks (which I did not know). That has me convinced it is male. I cannot have a rooster where I live. He's free to a good home. I'm located in Orem, but am willing to meet within reason. Please text me if you're interested. Thanks!
