Spruce is a 2-year-old Border Collie / German Shepherd mix looking for his perfect home. He is incredibly loving and social—he makes friends everywhere he goes and truly just wants to be your buddy. He’ll happily follow you around and be involved in whatever you’re doing.

He knows most basic commands and is currently in training, so his new owner will need to continue working with him to help him stay consistent and keep improving.

Spruce seems to do well with other dogs. He does chase cats, so a home without cats would be best. We are unsure how he does with kids.

He is a heavy shedder, so regular brushing and cleaning will be part of life with him.

Spruce needs daily physical and mental stimulation, so he would do best in a home where someone has the time to be active with him and include him in their routine. He is not a good fit for someone who is gone most of the day or has a very busy schedule.

He is mostly potty trained and has not had any accidents in the past month.

This sweet boy has so much love to give and will make an amazing companion in the right home

We got him from the shelter 3 months ago and love him but he isn’t a right fit for our life and house.

He is fully vaccinated and no known medical issues.

We really just want him to go to a great home with lots of love.

We are asking the price since he is coming with a lot of dog items including crate, toys, food, grooming items, treats and leashes. We do have an ECollar we can send with him and can negotiate that.
