This is a fully restored Garrard Zero 100, one of the most unique and innovative turntables of its era, featuring Garrard’s zero-tracking-error tonearm design.
I purchased this unit as a non-working example—completely seized from 50+ years of hardened grease (a very common issue with these tables). It has since been properly brought back to life:\
- Fully disassembled where needed and all old grease removed\
- Mechanism cleaned and relubricated correctly\
- Motor serviced and running strong and quiet\
- Automatic functions cleaned, freed up, and now operating as designed\
- Table cycles smoothly and consistently
This is not a quick flip—this is the kind of restoration these tables require to perform properly.
Performance: The table is running beautifully. The arm tracks correctly, the automatic functions engage as they should, and most importantly—it sounds outstanding. These Zero 100s, when right, deliver a surprisingly refined, open, and musical presentation.
Cosmetics: The plinth and table are in solid condition for their age. Unfortunately, the dust cover was destroyed during shipping by poor packing and is not included/usable.
