Maya is a 5-year-old border collie mix looking for the right forever home. She’s incredibly loyal, smart, and forms a strong bond with her person—but she needs a very specific environment to thrive.
Maya would do best in a home with no children and no other pets. She prefers a calm, predictable environment and an owner who understands herding breeds and can provide structure, consistency, and leadership.
She has a lot of great qualities:\
Extremely intelligent and trainable\
Loyal and protective\
Active and enjoys having a “job”\
Bonds deeply with her person
Because of her background and temperament, she is not a good fit for homes with kids or other animals. She needs someone patient, experienced, and willing to continue working with her.
