Not this pair, but these speakers were the very first pair of real speakers I owned. my original pair were traded and got messed up..
These ones work flawlessly. They were re-foamed by the previous owner.. It was done okay. Sounds perfect and does not leak air, but one surround is a bit wavy toward the middle. Could be redone but I didn't bother.
Unfortunately they do have cracked caps as is pretty common with these. Not hard to make replacements though out of whatever beautiful wood grain you want.
The punch above their class, as is pretty common as well with Advent of this era and before. Great speakers truly. Great bass output for their size, which is quite small in the floor standing type.
Tweeters do NOT have cracked edges. Also very common.
Love these speakers dearly, but I have Polk SRS 3.1TL's.. Really no reason to have as many "extras" as I do.
These are sentimental and I don't plan to let them go for nothing.. Look these up on Ebay, they have become more sought after nowadays. I priced them fairly.
