VenmoThis is a Montague Flash 8 1/2' fly rod. Made by Crawford Manufacturing, Est 1843. It is a 3 piece rod with an extra tip. Comes with original canvas case. Made in the 1920'2 through the 1950's. I am told my Grandfather purchased it in 1952 for about $16. It is a slow action rod and a 5 weight line works best. One eye hook in the middle section is missing.
Time for someone who would use it to have it. Appraisers have told me it is worth between $150 - $250 as is. I am selling it for $125.
Rod is in very good shape. The finish on the rod is intact and there are no heat bubbles on any of the sections.
