Electrical Requirements: Most indoor infrared saunas require a dedicated 120V circuit. Some smaller one- and two-person infrared saunas can operate on a shared electrical outlet. Please reference the product specification sheet to determine the specific requirements for your model. Ventilation Requirements: Indoor infrared saunas are equipped with an air vent in the ceiling. This air vent is designed help circulate heat throughout the sauna during the heat up phase. The sauna air vent also allows you to lower the sauna temperature without opening the door if the temperature inside the sauna becomes too hot. Since the heat from the infrared panels is considered dry heat, you do not have to have an external exhaust for home saunas.
