Price Dropped Again, $2000. Here's a great opportunity to own some drum history!

1968 Ludwig Maple Classic Drum Set White Marine Pearl, with a Ludwig Supraphonic 400 Snare. Drums are clean, and are absolutely beautiful, cleaned, lubed, no defects. No scratches, scuffs, no modifications... complete, intact, same as when they left the Ludwig factory Tuesday and Wednesday March 26 and 27, 1968. They still have original heads. (* I will throw in some other batter heads, bass, 13, 14, 16, 22 so you can preserve the original Ludwig Weather Master heads, which collectors will buy).

Maple shells are date stamped, and readable. Keystone badges, with close serial numbers. Bass drums hoops are in excellent shape. There is some yellowing as is the case with all 59 year old shells; can be restored with the "Retro Brightening" process...Google it. Original snare wires are gone; replacement wires with factory logo are available online, or you can put on you own if you prefer. Supraphonic 400 Snare, has some very slight chrome flaking in one area, not uncommon. There is no rust or pitting, the lugs have been cleaned and lubed. I will sell just the snare for $400, the drum is fully functional. The shell pack 3 pieces is $1600, and all four pieces for $2000. I will throw in the original Hi Hat stand with clutch and felt washers. A vintage WFL snare stand, and a used Speed King pedal, with the shell pack.

(I live in a Sprinter RV, have no room, and have other drums to play. These drums need a home. I was going east to pursue my other hobby Storm Chasing, but with diesel at $7.00 a gallon my plans have been put on hold.
