CONRAD-JOHNSON DF-2 VINTAGE AUDIOPHILE SINGLE DISC CD PLAYER. This is a used CD player that works, plays, and sounds amazing, but with a few issues. The main issue is that there is no display on the LCD except for one LED that will come on if the dispaly is turned on and you push the program (PGM) button. It does not display the time, track, or any other information. We did check inside the unit and everything in there looks perfect. The second issue is that when you open the CD tray, it sticks just a little after opening or closing about an inch from completely closed. If you nudge it, then it slides right open or closed. With the cover off, it looks like it's just the little magnet tha snaps into place on the top of the disc after it's loaded. They're issues that don't really require repair if you plan to simply use it to play and listen to discs. Because we aren't techs and wouldn't know the first thing about fising it though, we're selling it as-is for parts/repair. It comes with everything shown. These were originally $1700 and regularly sell on the used market for around half of that. This is your chance to save big-time if you're a do-it-yourselfer so don't miss out!!
