21-year-old Missouri Fox Trotter mare for sale. Fresca is a seasoned, well-broke mare with a calm, gentle temperament and a naturally smooth gait.

Fresca has been used in our daughter’s 4H for the past couple of years and has won multiple first-place ribbons. She is very safe and dependable—can be ridden bareback and is suitable for riders of all ages.

She stands well, loads, and is easy to handle on the ground and under saddle.

Health Notes: We suspect she may have ulcers and have been treating her for about a month without much noticeable improvement so far. Because of this, she’s currently lower energy and our 10-year-old has had difficulty getting her to trot consistently.

She has also developed a mild case of Cushing’s disease, which results in her growing a thicker/longer coat than normal.

That said, she is still rideable, safe, and gentle, and would make a great light-use horse, companion horse, or pasture pet for someone looking for an easygoing mare.
