Grulla grade mare for sale. She’s been everywhere through the mountains and primarily been a trail horse. She was used as my son’s main ride. She does get watchy of bikes and ATV’s and prefers to not be around them. She crosses water, deadfall, rocks etc. with no issues. She has roped both in the arena and field, however it wasn’t in any event or tied on as far as I know. She has solid hard feet and doesn’t require shoes. She also doesn’t like her feet messed with and needs sedation to trim her or leg tied. She travels well once loaded. She doesn’t like to be first in and sometimes hesitates to load. She usually walks right in if second. I haven’t used her in over a year, and I’ve never laid her off this long, so I’m not sure how she’ll behave with time off. However, I’ve never had her buck and as mentioned, she was my boy’s horse. She rides off alone or will follow in a group. Doesn’t mind dogs or chickens. Priced accordingly and not negotiable at this time. If the ad is up, she’s available. Located in St. George.
