Everything works. Can also switch to a bassinet style stroller. We used this for our baby from newborn to 2 years before she decided she wanted to walk everywhere.

Has an adjustable shade thing, and we'll throw in a clear plastic rain cover that covers the whole thing. Great for rainy or windy days.
