Dahlia is a 5 y/o sorrel ex-racer who was retired from the track in late 2024. Currently she is on the path to be a barrel prospect but with her calm, willing mind and athletic ability, she can go in any direction and can be finished how you like. She always picks up everything I teach her quickly retains it is well too. Since she is young and currently being retrained, she would be best with an experienced rider/handler. She is very sweet, smart, and has a sound mind, but is still young and learning.

I've done lots of work with her at a walk and trot, but her lope needs a bit of work as she is still figuring out how her feet work. She knows how to lunge in the round pen and on the lungeline, she's not spooky in the slightest, she trailers well, and she stands for the farrier well. She's good around dogs and other horses. Broke in a western saddle but to our knowledge she's ever had an English saddle on her. Up to date on all her health care-- vaccines, wormer, teeth, feet, and chiropractic care. PPE welcome at buyer's expense, she is being sold as sound and healthy to our knowledge.
