Very good condition 2000 Stingray 18' boat with the famously reliable Volvo Penta 3.0 Motor.
I am the second owner of this boat. And I bought it from the original owner. He was a wealthy guy who lived in the avenues who had the boat professionally maintained, winterized, and stored for its entire life. When I bought it from him in 2022, I as well, kept this boat well maintained with oil changes, stored within a covered space, and properly winterized. The boat runs great, starts easy and cycles water well.
As I am looking to sell, I put a brand new oil filter on, fresh oil change, spark plugs, and impeller all as of mid March 2026. I have taken it to Utah lake for its yearly voyage and it ran great with no issue. It only allowed me to upload 1 video, but I have a few of it driving at full boar, and turning, ect.
The leather is in great condition, non of it shows any signs of drying out. There are some scuff marks here and there but its an older boat. Still amazing condition.
I have a 3 prop propeller for it as well as the 4 prop that is currently on it. The 4 prop I bought 2 years ago to help with torque when pulling family around in a tube. But the 3 prop will give you a higher top speed for cruising around if you wish to put it back on.
The red boat cover is in great condition. No rips or tears and just put it through the washer so its nice and clean. Boat comes on a trailer (obviously) both in great condition with no sign of rust or axel replacement needed anytime soon.
Some life jackets, horns, fire extinguishers, ropes, and extras, are all included. I popped my tube like a doofis last year so sadly I don't have a tube to include. But they aren't very much these days.
I am selling this because I have recently had my 4th child and upgraded our family car, and we just truly feel its to much of a lift to get the get the boat out these days as much as we would like and we were not able to use it much last year either. In my 4 years of ownership, we maybe hit the water 8-9 times. with seasonal oil changes for good practice of motor health.
The blower, and bilge pumps work great. It doesn't have a radio installed, but it does have a slot for one with a harness installed for whoever wants to install one. The floor is nice and sturdy with no soft spots. And the carpet is in relatively clean shape as well. No weird fish smells or anything. I also installed a few rod holders for trolling, and it also has a trolling prop cover installed on the prop to protect lines from getting sucked into the prop.
This boat is for sure more designed for 2-4 light adults or 2 adults and a few kids. It isn't the fastest most torquey boat out there. Its a 18' 4 cylinder that is designed to be very reliable with great fuel economy, to get your through a good weekend of use with a small family or group of friends.
Current market price for this boat show as:
Market Pricing for 180RS Low End (Fair/Project): $2,500 – $4,000
Realistic Private Party (Great Condition): $6,500 – $8,500
Top Tier (Showroom/Pristine): $9,000 – $10,500
As I do believe this boat is in great shape. I am listing it for the lower end of that Great Condition Value.
If you are interested in coming to take a look at the boat or want any more information on it. Let me know. I am not in a rush to sell this boat at all. So playing hard to get isn't a great idea as I will just ignore you.
LOW BALLERS WILL BE IGNORED, AND I AM NOT INTERESTED IN TRADES, AT ALL.
If a serious buyer comes through and has some things they want to talk about, more than willing to hear them out and work something out. But as of now. 6500 Firm is where it stands.
Title in hand.
