John Boy is a 12-year-old “been there done that” and kid safe Mule, but big enough for adults and heavy loads. He stands about 14.2 hands and has plenty of strength for any size of rider and is safe for children. Must see video – He doesn’t hesitate to do anything or go anywhere… We even ride him up the aluminum bleachers. He has no bad habits; spook, buck, bite, etc. He loads in the trailer well and LOVES people. He likes to lead or follow and has a nice gate to his walk (he moves out really nice at a steady pace) He is definitely more than just a ride-on animal (he is so smart and loves to be hugged and cuddled). The kids all pile on him at the same time and hang all over him. He is amazing on the trails, packing, hunting, or just pleasure riding. He is fully aware and careful without bocking at anything. Nothing rattles him (cars, traffic, loud noises, animals, birds, deer, tight spots, etc.). If you want to be safe, your kids safe, etc. he’s worth the investment.
