SOLD AS IS. BUYER ASSUMES RISK.
6-ish person sauna mounted on trailer.
Exterior façade measures 7’x8’x8’ (WxLxH).
Sauna's interior dimensions: 80” Long, 71.5” Wide, 82.25” high. Lower benches: 17.5" high. Upper Bench: 35.5" from floor. From upper bench to ceiling: 46.5".
The interior is lined with cedar walls, ceiling, and benches in good condition, all with a fresh sanding.
The placement of the heater is left unfinished with non-flammable tile-backer panel that can be covered or removed according to the type and scale of the heater that is installed.
IMPORTANT: I am not a structural engineer. In my honest appraisal, at this time I believe it to be best that the sauna be removed from the trailer and installed on solid ground in a permanent position. I do believe that the sauna is constructed safely enough for road travel at least to a place where a thorough review of its construction can be performed to ensure it is safe for ongoing road travel. Sauna is sold AS IS. It is the BUYER’S RESPONSIBILITY to assure that the construction is worthy of on-going road travel. The trailer itself is an ATV trailer which I paid $600 dollars for. If you remove the sauna from the trailer, you're left with an asset.
Includes used UltraSauna 9000k watt electric heater and controls ($1500 new). I harvested the heater from a sauna in a house that was set for demolition. The power to the heater was disconnected and I could never verify if the heater works. I HAVE NO REASON to believe that it does not work. Please acknowledge that I cannot guarantee that the heater works. It includes the control panel and and wires, and a light fixture with wiring. (The light will need minor repairs using screws and nuts to hold it intact. Note the slightly bent corner of the sauna control panel in the photo.
Sauna has two vents – one below the heater’s position (intake) and one under the bench (exhaust).
Floor is 3/4” pressure-treated plywood.
Includes new, in-package sauna thermometer.
Includes sauna rocks - rounded, river stones that accompanies the included electric heater.
Includes roofing membrane. The membrane will need to be properly installed. I left it uninstalled to allow for the buyer to determine if they would like to use a wood-fired stove or electric, since installing the stovepipe before the roofing membrane is the best approach. This will involve cleaning the membrane, gluing it to the roof, and trimming the excess.
Sauna uses R-13 fiberglass insulation on the walls and R-19 fiberglass insulation on the ceiling.
The framing was built using hurricane ties and are bolted to the frame of the trailer using carriage bolts.
Buyer will need to install exterior cladding. I left it unfinished to allow the buyer to install further sway brackets or any structural reinforcements should they be deemed necessary.
Please note:
The fascia around the perimeter of the roof is warped and should be replaced.
The door's bottom rubs with the floor – it will either requir removing the door and triming off 3/8" off – I do have the door bottom seal that mounts to it which is included. Or, it may not matter depending if the sauna is removed from the trailer and placed upon a situation that allows for it.
Located in Sugarhouse in Salt Lake City.
I accept cash or Venmo.
