Selling my 1981 Honda XR500R. This is a classic big-bore dirt bike with a lot of potential, but it’s definitely a project and not currently running.

It’s all there for the most part and would be a great rebuild for someone who knows these older Hondas or is looking for a solid vintage project. These bikes are getting harder to find and are known for being tough and reliable once dialed in.

Details: • 1981 Honda XR500R • Kickstart • Air-cooled • Not currently running • Compression lever needs to be fixed, so the compression doesn’t stay now. • Good candidate for restoration or a fun off-road build

I just don’t have the knowledge or money to finish it, so I’d rather see it go to someone who will bring it back to life.
