The KLR-650 is an incredibly capable/versatile bike, with legendary durability (Google it). I’ve taken this one to all the fun places, and it has the scratches to prove it (but never any real damage). It only drinks ethanol-free, and it doesn’t burn oil like other 2008’s. New chain, front sprocket, spark plug, air filter, and brake pads all done at 9,500 miles. Water pump rebuilt/seals replaced this month. Fresh coolant, and new oil & filter this month.
