Frank is an 8 year old gelding that has been there done that. Good to brand on. Doctored hundreds of yearlings. Started on the head and heel side. Watches a cow and rates well. I have ridden this horse a lot over the course of his life. Big motor and will cover country. Good for a farrier and loads easy. Good in a group of horses and is easy to catch with some grain. He is selling as grade but I know both the horses that he is out of. Both money earners in the NRCHA and NCHA. Family friend owned the mare and my family owned the stud he’s out of. Friend sold him to us as a 4 year old for my sister in law to ride and he just isn’t exactly what she’s looking for.
Now for the bad…with time off he can be a handful. Likes to buck around and come untrained for a second. Will hang back sometimes when you first do up the cinch. In my humble opinion this horse is the perfect example of being as broke as you treat him. If you jump on scared he will take advantage of you but I’ve jumped on him and weathered the storm and he was good the rest of the day. Not one you can just jump on out of the trailer and go to running stuff down. Requires a little bit of warming up before doing cool stuff. And he can do some cool stuff. If you have any more questions just text or call me and I can answer them. Pics and papers of the stud. I couldn’t find anything for the mare but I know she’s bob acre doc bred. Also has a cut in the coronet band but has never seemed to bother him.
