Meet Hercules — and yes, he truly lives up to the name! At just 2 years old, this big, handsome boy is in his prime and ready to find his perfect home. He was adopted as a puppy but was unfortunately returned, and he’s now been at the shelter far too long. Everyone here is rooting for him and hoping he finally gets his happily ever after.

Hercules is the biggest goofball you’ll ever meet and is absolutely obsessed with toys. Balls, tug, fetch—you name it, he’s all in. He’s playful, social, and always ready for fun, whether that’s a game in the yard or heading out on an adventure. He’d thrive with someone who enjoys being active and including their dog in daily life.

He previously lived with another dog and may do well with a canine buddy. Hercules already knows his basics like sit, down, and come, and while he can pull a bit on the leash when excited, it’s just his enthusiasm shining through.

At home, he loves lounging with his people and being part of the family. When it’s time to wind down, he’s perfectly happy snoozing nearby.
