Be part of the Legend set the dates May 15-16th in beautiful Wallsburg Utah at 50 Starks Lane at the home of the Wasatch Wingnuts RC Club. Gates open each day at 8:00 AM Pilots meeting at 9:00. Open flying all day Friday with events 10:00-2:00 on Saturday and open flying before and after. Something for every type of pilot from pylon racing to classic fun fly type events. Schedule to include but not limited to are; 6 cell EDF pylon Open EDF pylon V900/V1200 pylon Concendo pylon Timber type pylon T-28 pylon Open pylon STOL takeoff and landing event Toilet Paper drop Best smoke flight Best 3D flight both gas and electric Best Warbird scale and Civilian flight Best turbine flight Radian all up last down Did we miss anything? If you’ve never tried pylon this is your chance, super laid back two pole pylon on a 500’ course which is open all day Friday for practice. The fastest plane seldom wins.
Raffles, prizes, trophies, awards, gold stars? Not a chance but the applause and admiration of your peers should last a lifetime. No entry fees, free pilot lunch on Saturday small donation for others. Free dry camping Friday and Saturday nights. Plenty of shade and tables but a pop-up awning and cooler is a good idea. Concessions are about 20 minutes away so plan accordingly. No AC or DC power is available on site. Porta potties will be clean and shiny what more could you ask for?? Now for some business. We’re on private ground and a few rules come with it. Once inside the compound please limit your speed to 10 MPH. No open fires, no alcohol or firearms. Pack it in pack it out. And the big one, you must have a AMA card on your person to fly or compete. Yes we’re a little out of the way but it’s a great facility with spectacular views. What have we missed?
