What Abu Can Do: Abu is a possible all-around horse. He barrel races, can be roped off of, has cow sense, has done team penning, has been in parades, and completed a Horsemanship Clinic in St. George where he went through desensitization work. He’s competed at multiple rodeos and carried riders proudly in parades. Trail rides? He loves them — including mountain terrain and rocky slopes. He’s so trail-solid he won’t bat an eye at dogs running alongside, and legend has it he’s actually carried a dog on his saddle.

Worth noting: like many horses, Abu does best when worked consistently — without regular handling, he may spook at sudden loud or startling things, so he’ll thrive with a rider who stays engaged with him.

His People Skills Are Unmatched: Abu is easy to catch, loves his people, and has a genuinely affectionate temperament. He stands great when tied, loads into a two-horse trailer without fuss, is current on shots, and just had a sheath cleaning. He’s also incredibly photogenic — this horse loves a camera.

Ideal Rider: Abu went through 4-H and a professional horsemanship clinic, so he has solid fundamentals — but he’s not a beginner horse. He’s best suited for an intermediate to advanced rider, or a motivated youth who’s ready for a real challenge and wants to grow with a horse that will teach them everything.

He can still spook at sudden loud noises, and wiggles a bit for the farrier — small things, big upside.
