My palomino mare Oakley or (JB Sky Cat) is a very beautiful mare with the brains as well! She is very willing to do the things you want her to do! She is a very anxious/nervous horse if she is not around other horses she knows. We have worked on that a bunch and she can now stand tied without pacing but still with paw. She was sent to a trainer in grand junction to be broke and then sent home where she sat in her previous owners field for a while then sent again to be rode and went back home where she again sat. Then sent to another trainer to be worked on barrels she then went home again and sat for 7 months till I bought her! She has been rode everyday since I got her 2 months ago. Again she is very nervous but once she gets to know you she is phenomenal! She is sound and her feet have been trimmed and shoed and taken care of on a schedule! She does need sedated to get shoes on and a trim but I’ve also worked on that to where she lets me do it but no one else. She is kind of a one person horse. She is a sweetheart and super willing. She did buck when I was trying her out but she wasn’t rode for 7 months so it’s understandable to me! She did spook and bucked with me the other day I can honestly say she just needs a tune up with a trainer for 30 days and she would be good to go in any direction and a plus she would make an amazing brood mare with beautiful baby’s! I would be willing to trade for a nice tall barrel bred broke horse that could start on the barrels! 7🥕 is my asking price and is fair for what I paid and what I’ve done with her. Thank you.
