Sebastapols are a flightless, curly feathered breed of geese that are known for being docile, friendly, sociable and personable.
Especially when raised from a young age, these gentle creatures get to know their people. They will “talk” to you, and look you in the eye and know you. They are a great addition to any farm and can also make a fun backyard novelty pet where allowed.
They do honk and make noise, and the males will be protective of the females during breeding, nesting/hatching season and especially around their babies.
Both Mom and Dad raise the babies together and they do a fantastic job! They are highly attentive parents that keep a gentle, close watch over their little ones.

- This unique breed is currently at “threatened” status on the Endangered Species list. So we try to raise as many as we can each year to get the breed growing and help others to be aware of them and all their lovely traits!
